Listening Center

 

I buy books on CD with turn-the-page signals from Scholastic. I change the book every two weeks (but my students only come twice a week, so they only see the same book four times). I try to put books out that go with our monthly theme or the current holiday. I also put a sticker in the corner of the page that they start on, a green dot on the play button, and a red dot on the stop button. This helps the students navigate the center by themselves.
