Gummy Bear Song
You can find the instruction and printables here at prekinders.com. My kids LOVE this activity.
Color Sort
I used butcher paper to cut out big circles of all the colors. I sit the children in a circle, and put the circles in the middle. I have a bag with a bunch of different colored objects in it. I pass the bag around and each student pulls out an object, states the color of it, and matches it to the correct circle. To make it more fun, you can add music and have the students pass the bag until the music stops. The person it stops on pulls out an object.
Color Fishing
I made these fish because children think it's fun to use fishing poles. Children take turns catching a fish and stating the color. The point of this game is to find matches. The first fish everyone gets to keep, after that, if the fish they catch does not match the fish they currently have then they have to toss it back. It's nice to have multiple fish of the same color. The person with the most matches wins.
Color Memory
An easy game that you probably already have in your classroom. I made a version with colored owls that you can download at my TPT store here.
